My private practice is conveniently located in Silver Spring, Maryland near the intersection of New Hampshire Ave and Lockwood Drive, right off of Colesville Road Rt. 29.
Myra Weinstein provide individual, couples and family psychotherapy services. As a clinician with over thirty years experience, I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients with varied clinical disorders. Myra graduated with a Master's Degree from University of Maryland School of Social Work with a Clinical specialization.
I deeply believe in a human beings potential and capacity to change and transform. During the course of therapy, clients learn to recognize their strengths, increase self-esteem, develop skills to manage stress and other difficult emotions and learn how to have healthy interactions with family members, significant others and colleagues in the workplace.
As clients begin to heal and resolve issues, they become more conscious participants in their own live and gain valuable insight into their thoughts, actions and choices. What emerges is an individual who is more grounded, centered, confident and secure and one who is able to gain greater satisfaction and joy in his/her life.
